Smartphone App Module
Our app alerts the user with wireless alarms and alert modules such as text messages, emails, sounds, as well as visual and sensory alarms when the smartphone goes too far from the car seat. If these alerts are missed, the app will immediately reach out to a list of emergency contacts added on the smartphone application.
How does it work?
Peace of mind in the palm of your hand.
The car seat sensor pad detects the presence of a child. A signal taken from the car seat sensor pad is communicated wirelessly to the smartphone module. The smartphone then begins monitoring the presence of the child and will alert you if the child is forgotten in the vehicle.
Multiple alert protocols
Your smartphone will alert you in the form of a popup message when the sensor detects a child sitting in the carseat (Baby In) and when the sensor detects a child is out of the car seat (Baby Out).
When the parent goes too far from the child, Gardien will alert you via smartphone.
In the event that you leave both your smartphone and your child in the vehicle, the Gardien app has a movement sensor. When the app detects no movement it sends alerts to your smartphone. If the alerts are not answered, the app sends alerts to your emergency contact.
When the ambient temperature in the car exceeds 95°F or drops below 55°F an alarm message will be send to the caregiver.
With the Daycare Alarm feature, you can set an alarm to remind the caregiver to take the child to daycare at the specified time.
When your battery level hits 10% or lower, your smartphone will activate the Low Battery Alert Protocol which will continue to send sound and sensory alerts until the battery is replaced.
Car Seat Sensor
The Car Seat Sensor detects child’s presence and activates the modules.
If GPS is turned off, your smartphone will activate the GPS Alert Protocol and send sound and sensory alerts until GPS is turned back on.
If Bluetooth is turned off, your smartphone will activate the Bluetooth Alert Protocol and send sound and sensory alerts until Bluetooth is turned back on.
